About
Since 2010
Who are we?
Ehasa is a company operating in the capital region, whose purpose is to organize annual airsoft events in Finland. Ehasa consists of about fifteen active members.
We consist of former and current airsoft players who strive to keep the scene alive by organizing events in Finland. In our events we aim to take into account both younger and older players striving to offer something for everyone.
Even though we are an old association, we are constantly looking for responsible, passionate and capable members to join our organisation. In order to apply to become a member, you must know one of the existing members of Ehasa ry who can then recommend you. In practice, we expect applicants to already have some knowledge of organising airsoft events, as well as the ability and desire to develop the events even further.
Ehasa Oy plans and produces Ehasa events. Ehasa ry maintains community services, supports the activities and advances airsoft in Finland. Ehasa ry owns 50 percent of Ehasa Oy.

Ehasa’s history
We have tried to remember some important milestones along the history of our association.

Ehasa Oy is established
We established Ehasa Oy to make our operations more professional. Our association’s activities were also no longer considered to serve the public benefit. Ehasa ry owns half of Ehasa Oy.
The company’s business ID was registered on 7 December 2025. Ehasa Oy entered the Trade Register on 15 January 2026.

TSTOS and Conquest in Padasjoki
TSTOS 2023 and Conquest 20 took place in Padasjoki. The TSTOS series returned to Padasjoki after the 2022 event in Juupajoki.
In the game, Uusimaa and Pirkanmaa each defended a solar power plant, alongside civilian roles. Unlike earlier years, the bases were placed close to each other and to shared services, reducing off-game traffic through the game area at the end of the event.

New area

TSTOS events in Padasjoki
Eventually, Padasjoki became too small and too familiar. The annual permit process with the Finnish Defence Forces was lengthy, as national defence naturally took priority when deciding which weeks the area could be used.
The area was also fragmented, with private roads and properties belonging to several landowners. Identifying the necessary land-use permissions and applying for them took a great deal of time.

Last TSTOS in Ilveskallio
TSTOS 18 was the third event in the series. It combined milsim and live-action roleplay, with English becoming the primary language. Vehicles were registered in Kuulaportti beforehand and inspected on site.
The TSTOS series continued in Ilveskallio until 2018 and then moved to Padasjoki. The years 2019–2021 went well, with the game-area size changing slightly each year. The organisers enjoyed Padasjoki’s indoor accommodation, sauna and sanitary facilities compared with the tents and portable toilets at Ilveskallio.

The birth of Ehasa ry
Ehasa was registered as an official association in 2012. The founding meeting was held at Library 10 in Helsinki’s Postitalo building. It lasted almost an hour, after which an annual membership fee of €15 was agreed. The fee was soon waived when we realised that organising events already cost enough of our own money.

Dusk of the death
Dusk of the death was Ehasa’s first large event, held on 13–14 August 2010 at Chairborne’s Vihtijärvi game area with around 80–90 players. Generators and vehicles were rented. The survivors’ ZIL-131 truck broke down en route, forcing them to continue on foot towards the infected.
Weekend games at Mustavuori
Ehasa informally organised weekend games in Mustavuori, Helsinki. People got to know each other and decided to begin organising events. A core group of approximately three or four people soon formed, passionate about organising more than occasional weekend games.
The gallery preserves photographs of games from 10 July to 13 November 2010, showing summer and autumn games among Mustavuori’s rocks and woodland shelters.
